Targeting senior-level Asian American and Pacific Islander managers who are in the position to attain higher levels of management, this program works to specifically hone the skills associated with executive leadership while incorporating a focus on the relevant influences of their Asian cultural heritage and values. This 2.5 day program explores and prepares AAPI's for the challenges that face companies in the wake of continued growth and profitability.
The program features extensive 360-feedback from management, peers and direct reports with opportunities to practice and enhance proficiency through work-based role plays, large-scale simulations and case study analysis. All aspects of the program are focused on strengthening the participant's leadership competencies and skills.
Furthermore, post-program coaching is incorporated, playing a vital role in the reinforcement of the program curriculum. Here, a participant is assigned a seasoned executive coach to provide personal one-on-one feedback about the participant's leadership development. These features, combined with the in-program participation of senior corporate executives, work to make SMLF a key source of skill and experience in the competency set of any high level manager.
